When I Need You

This message is similar to yesterday's, and that's because it is so important.

Tell those that you love how you feel.

This isn't just about making the first move and announcing that you're in love. It's also about those who are already in your circle - your family and your friends.

So often, we fall into that trap where we just assume that those close to us must know how we feel. We did the dishes. We went with them to see that documentary on plants. We called to see how they were doing. Surely, they know.

Maybe they do. But there's also a chance they aren't sure. And there's an even better chance that they'd like to hear it.

You don't have to get mushy and write a sonnet. It doesn't need to be some kind of performance piece. It doesn't even need to be part of a special occasion.

Just say the words. Let them know they matter. Let them know you're glad they're in your life.

Let them know you love them.
