Trust

A very simple word and message, yet, so often, it proves difficult for us.

Trust.

A mis-step, a mis-understanding, a betrayal - all of those can derail us, and make it feel almost impossible to trust again. We don't want to make the same mistakes again. We don't want to be taken advantage of. 

But what happens is that you slowly put distance between you and everyone else. You think you're protecting yourself, but you're actually robbing yourself of love, joy and happiness.

Yes, trust can be a risk. But living your life can also be viewed as a risk. And the truth is, insulating yourself is also a risk. Doing that, you risk losing out on so many of the wonderful joys of life.

This card is a reminder of the importance of trust.
