Today's card comes from a sketch by John Lennon called "An Elephant Forgetting". You've heard the phrase, made even more popular by Dr. Seuss, that "an elephant never forgets". I have no idea why this is believed to be true, but like so many sayings, most of us accept it. While this idea is widely accepted, this card is of that seemingly rare time when it isn't true. I think this card means a couple different things. First, just because so many seem to believe something, it doesn't mean you have to. If it doesn't resonate with you, trust your intuition. Google it, if you're so moved. We live in an amazing time, where most of us have access to a nearly-infinite amount of information. That said, just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's true. That's important to remember when it comes to almost anything you see online. The other thing that leaps to mind with this card is that, no matter how unlikely it may seem, anything is possible. You have to believe it, of course. Belief is so very important. And that can make all the difference. With that, you can do anything. There is nothing you can't do, be, have or imagine. Even a giant purple elephant forgetting. This card comes from an oracle deck I created based on the artwork of John Lennon.
You can hear me read from this deck for callers on Psychic Tapestry's Love Show, with Toni DeMaio and Julia Hoffman, Friday's at 5:00pm Pacific on Blog Talk Radio!
