Tapestry Radio Is On

I have always believed there was something special about music.

Even back when I was a skeptic, before I found a metaphysical path, I knew there was something hopeful and healing in music. I had experienced, more than once, hearing the exact song I needed to hear, with the lyrics and message I needed, at the exact time I needed it.

I’ve been inspired by songs. And by singers. I’ve also been moved by them. And I’ve learned from them. I’ve had songs of varying degrees of significance suddenly appear, stuck in my head, even though I hadn’t heard those songs in a long time.

There are some songs that instantly evoke a certain person or place, even though the song (and the artist, for that matter) really have nothing to do with that person or place. My wife and I have a song (more than one, actually). And there are songs that instantly make me think of exes, relatives and friends.

More than forty years after it topped the charts, “One Piece At A Time” by Johnny Cash still takes me back to the front seat of my parents car, where I sat with my dad, waiting for my mom to come out of the store.

I think music has that power for all of us.

That’s the idea behind Tapestry Radio.

I wanted to create an online radio station that gave the listeners all of that. And more. And that’s the intention I set when I began to build this station.

I’ve loaded an enormous variety of music (artists, eras and genres), and invited Psychic Tapestry listeners and our friends on social media to listen whenever they want, asking Guides and Angels to give them whatever they need to know whenever they tune in.

That said, this isn’t exactly Magic Eight Ball Radio. So asking a question and clicking the play button may not give you the specific (and instant) answer you’re looking for. But it will give you messages of what you need to know.

It’s my hope that when you listen to Tapestry Radio, you do get messages and answers. Along with hope and healing. And maybe some comfort and nostalgia.

Tapestry Radio is also for those who love music, all kinds of music. You’ll hear recent pop and rock hits from the likes of Pentatonix and Imagine Dragons, alongside Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. 80’s and 90’s throwbacks like Men At Work and Nirvana are there, along with 60’s and 70’s songs from the Beatles and the Eagles. Classic rock legends Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin side-by-side with Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera. Early Country pioneers Hank Williams and Frankie Laine are in the mix, as are Kenny and Dolly, and Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks, and Faith Hill and the Band Perry.

Eminem, Benny Goodman, the Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Elvis Presley, Elvis Costello, Bing Crosby, David Crosby, Phil Phillips, Phil Collins, Sam Smith, Sammy Davis Jr., the Bee Gees, the B-52’s, Buddy Guy, Buddy Rich, Buddy Holly, Kansas, Alabama, the Blues Brothers, the Pointer Sisters, the Beach Boys, the Backstreet Boys, Chumbawamba, Oingo Boingo, the Kinks, the Kooks, B.B. You get the idea.

Tens of thousands of songs are already playing. And tens of thousands more are being added. If you love music, all kinds of music, Tapestry radio is playing what you love.

While Tapestry Radio is free for the listener, it isn’t free for me to produce it. That means there will be some commercials. Not many. And they will be geared toward the listener, meaning that all the commercials will be for a metaphysical business (a reader, medium, store, product or business). And there will only be one of these each hour.

Because it is all about the music, the messages and the healing.
