![]() "Chain Gang" was a big hit for a Sam Cooke in 1960. It was also a hit when it was later covered by Jackie Wilson in 1968, and a posthumous hit for Jim Croce in 1976. The Ten Of Wands traditionally indicates that you're working too hard, or too much. The message in this card is the same. The truth is, most of us work too much. It seems to be the nature of things in the 21st century. We're connected to the Internet, email and social media almost all the time, And we're used to that connection, so we don't even notice that we're almost always working. This card is a reminder that other parts of your life are important, too, and you should take some time to focus on that. Do something with family and friends. Do something for you. This doesn't have to be something extravagant and expensive. It can be as simple as going for a walk in the park, watching a favorite movie or reading a book. Something that brings you happiness, and feeds that part of you that too often gets neglected by a non-stop stream of work. This card comes from my Psychic Jukebox deck, a 78-card tarot deck that I created. It is similar to tradition decks, but all the cards are singers, bands and songs. My deck is actually 80 cards, as there are two blank ones - because sometimes, you already know the answer. You can hear me read from this deck for callers on Psychic Tapestry's Love Show, with Toni DeMaio and Julia Hoffman, Friday's at 5:00pm Pacific on Blog Talk Radio!
