You have and you are unlimited energy!
Your prayers have been answered by the ideas you receive - those inspirations to start a new business, write a book, explore a new healing modality, work with a charity, help children, improve your diet, and so forth. Always, a Divinely Guided idea is about helpfulness.
The next step is to pray about how to put those ideas into action. You receive thoughts, feelings, and visions that guide you step-by-step in the best direction. To do this, though, you need energy, motivation, and confidence. Fortunately, prayer provides for everything you need . . . including energy.
God IS energy. And God's Holy Spirit, who lives in you, is energy. Therefore, you have unlimited energy within you always. You can tap into this vital energy Source now and always.
In 1996, I was guided to stop drinking caffeine, because the artificial energy source was a poor and unreliable substitute for the real energy Source, God. And it's true!
Sometimes though the ego tries to distract or delay us from taking Divinely guided action. The ego whispers that we don't have enough time, energy, knowledge, money, or other resources. Let's not allow the ego to thwart God's will working through us!
Here's a helpful prayer: Dear God, the Source of all that is good and the Provider of all that we need - please help me to directly connect with you! Please clear away distractions and interference so that I can enthusiastically take action as you guide me to do so.
And here's a supportive scripture: He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Isaiah 40:29

Help is here for you!
One thing that I've learned in my life, is that it's necessary to ask for help. There's this belief that it's weak to ask for help, or that you'd be bothering someone, or that no one would help anyway so why bother to ask.
So let's look at each belief one by one:
1. Myth: It's weak to ask for help. Truth: It's a sign of strength, self-care, and confidence to ask for help. Whether it's asking for crowd-funding to start your business; asking a publisher to publish your book; asking your kids to help with housework; or asking your best friend to listen to your feelings - we all need help.
2. Myth: You're bothering people when you ask them for help. Truth: People enjoy giving and helping, especially if you show appreciation.
3. Myth: No one would say yes to your requests for help, so why bother asking. Truth: If you don't have helpful generous people in your life right now, pray that God sends them to you! We all need relationships with helpful people, but it starts with us being open to meeting and developing friendships with people who are nice, caring, and open-hearted. You deserve healthy relationships - we all do!
Most of all, these myths and truths apply to your relationship with asking God for help - and accepting help. Many prayers are answered by God sending angels to assist you, and that includes helpful people who offer to help.
Your beautiful life purpose, your radiant health, your happy family life, and so much more - all benefit from you asking for and accepting help.
Here's a helpful prayer: Dear God, Why am I so reluctant to ask for help? I literally need your help in asking for help. Please loosen my fears about asking for and accepting help, so that I may work in a steady partnership of giving and receiving. In Jesus name.
And here's a supportive scripture: You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! John 14:13-14

Here are the answers you seek.
Although it seems that life can throw us curveballs, and that the world is random - there really IS an orderliness to life that can help us to relax and trust in the flow of life.
This beautiful painting of Jesus symbolizes the key: taking quiet time to tune-in and listen. God gives us continual GPS-like navigation about what direction to take, and if we follow this guidance, we stay in the flow.
Over the years, I've interviewed thousands of people who told me how their lives were saved because they listened to God's inner voice. My prayer is that you make quiet time for listening and contemplation - it's so essential to getting answers about our why, what, and how questions.
Hearing God is as natural, easy, and simple as breathing - but we must create the atmosphere for it to happen. And when we listen to and follow our divine guidance, we experience the divine order that keeps us safe, healthy, fulfilled, and happy.
May you enjoy quiet moments of peaceful contemplating with God today and everyday.
Here's a helpful prayer: Dear God, I dearly want to hear your answers and guidance, but sometimes I don't know how to do so. Please give me the strength to quiet my mind, so that I can feel and hear your loving presence. I want to trust and follow you Lord, but I need your help.
And here's a supportive scripture: If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. James 1:5 NLT

You're a leader . . . even if it doesn't feel that way.
Do you feel like "someone" should make helpful changes to the world, changes which are obvious to you? Do you have ideas which would alleviate problems for people?
When we pray for ways to help the world, God answers by giving us ideas and assignments about how we can be of service. Usually, those of us who are quiet, introverted, and sensitive can more easily hear those divine messages to take action. Yet we may hesitate taking action, because our sensitivity makes us socially awkward. We don't feel confident leading, speaking up, or rallying the troops.
Yet if we don't take action, nothing will change. And that's more painful than risking public ridicule by speaking up.
I remember being bullied in junior high school because I gave a talk at the Sierra Club and wrote articles about how mustangs were being killed because the land was wanted for cattle grazing. The other kids called me weird (and harsher names) for doing this. Looking back, that experience toughened me for the work I do as an adult AND I was able to raise awareness of the mustangs' plight. It was worth it.
A man at my church had a vision, where all of us in the congregation would donate and prepare meals for the homeless. He spoke up, and now we are feeding the hungry! Those who speak up and take action on behalf of the poor and voiceless are angels upon earth!
Here's a helpful prayer: Dear God, please clearly give me a divine assignment as to how I can help with (describe a problem in the world that upsets you). Please motivate, guide, encourage, and support my leadership process, and send the right people to help enact this solution. Thank you for armoring and protecting me as I speak up and take charge as you guide me.
And here's a supportive scripture: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Turn guilt into peace.
Guilt is the inner process of holding a grudge against yourself, for what you believe you did wrong.
The lower-energy uses guilt as an opportunity to stop or delay you from fulfilling your life purpose, by convincing you that you're not qualified to be a healer, teacher, etc. because of your past. You may even punish yourself because of guilt.
To God, though, mistakes are opportunities to forgive, learn, grow, and develop a closer relationship with your Creator. Everyone makes mistakes. We all do. So it's not about whether you make a mistake. It's what you do afterwards.
The healthy way is to admit your mistakes to God and to yourself. There's this huge relief that comes from admitting them. Then pray for help in forgiving yourself. Pray to learn from the experience so that it's not repeated. And then teach your children and others this process, because guilt is a big worldwide problem that you can help to transform into peace.
It's about taking responsibility for your actions, instead of feeling guilty about the actions.
Here's a helpful prayer: Dear God, Here are the actions that I'm feeling bad about (describe). Please lift me up with your healing forgiveness, and help me to learn from my actions, so that I will make healthier choices from now on.
And here's a supportive scripture: Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. Proverbs 28:13

Rest your sensitive heart.
When a tragedy occurs, such as in Manchester, it triggers deep emotional responses of grief. If you've been previously traumatized, this tragedy can trigger your post-traumatic symptoms. Reading or watching stories about the incident can also bring up symptoms of "secondary PTSD" which I wrote about in "Don't Let Anything Dull Your Sparkle." Undoubtedly you've been praying and sending healing energy to everyone. So be sure to rest if you're feeling drained. Retreat into quiet as much as possible.
Don't isolate yourself from support, though. If you need to talk, please reach out to your support system...especially if you feel tempted to relapse into an addiction or other self-harmful behaviors. Counselors who are trained in treating post-traumatic symptoms are also very helpful. I like the work of the therapists listed at emdr.com.
Be sure to balance all of the giving and caring you're doing, with receiving support and care for yourself. And please keep the faith that there are many many good people on this planet, far-outnumbering those who act in evil ways. And the good people need you and your life purpose!
Here's a helpful prayer: Dear God, Your love heals and restores my heart from brokenness to faith. Here are my shattered feelings - thank you for restoring me. My prayers go out to everyone who is suffering, and I appreciate you helping me as well so that I can help others more effectively.
And here's a supportive scripture: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27

You can shift your schedule and energy levels, so that you have enough time for your priorities. You have this power. It begins with making a commitment to the importance of your priorities. And knowing that they won't get done on their own.
I've learned that you can accomplish a lot in little increments of time. Most of us don't have several hours to focus upon our priorities. Instead, 10 minutes focused upon our priorities here and there all add up. It also means making a choice of how to spend the present moment - and asking yourself with each activity: How important is this to me?
Another life lesson I've learned about priorities: If it's part of your divine life purpose, the lower energy will try to distract you. All sorts of reasons to not work on your priorities will suddenly appear. You've got to rebuke these distractions and stay strong in your commitment to follow-through.
Priorities can also include rest and other self-care activities. What are your priorities and how do you make enough time for them?
Here's a helpful prayer: Dear God, You can see the whole picture of what's most important, and I ask you to help see this too. Please boost my awareness of using time wisely, and help me learn how to focus upon what is truly a priority.
And here's a supportive scripture: Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. Luke 12:34

Three different cards related to answered prayer came up today, with the strong message of blocks being lifted. Hooray!
I love this quote from Proverbs 16:3, because it's SO on point with the message: Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. Here's how it works: you pray for help; God gives you guidance; you follow that guidance; and everything works out beautifully.
It's only when we stray from following our divine guidance that we run into detours and delays. So the keywords are Pray, Listen, Trust, and Follow. Hashtag: PrayAndWork. We can't just sit and pray, and think God will be like Santa Clause. We have to take the action as He guides us.
We quiet our minds, and keep our minds clear, so we can hear. If you're having difficulty hearing God, create a quiet space. Turn off the electronics, sit somewhere quiet, and listen. Detox also, as it's much easier to hear God while sober. God speaks into your heart, so focus there.
If you're unsure if it's really God's guidance, here's a helpful prayer:
Dear God, You ARE love, wisdom, and all that is wonderful. Thank you for blessing me with your clear guidance, and instilling in me the faith and courage to follow your guidance.
And here's a supportive scripture: Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3

There's nothing to fear.
The energy is funky today, so you're not alone if you're being affected empathically. When a lot of people feel afraid simultaneously, that fear energy blasts outwardly and can affect highly-sensitive people like yourself, especially if you're feeling tired, emotional, or vulnerable.
Don't listen to the taunts of fear-energy, which thrives upon drama. It's a path that leads you away from your purpose and priorities. Getting twisted into a ball of what-if worries about the future pulls you from the awareness of God's love.
The key is to notice when you're stressed, and immediately call for help through prayer, such as this one:
Dear Lord, Please shepherd us all, and lead us safely away from snares or pitfalls. Help us to stay joyfully connected to your voice which calls to us. Help us to replace fear with the faith that you are watching over each of us.
And here's a supportive scripture: The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. Psalm 23:1-3

True and lasting self-care.
Taking good care of yourself is part of your life purpose, so that you have enough energy and enthusiasm to take action on your divine guidance. Self-care measures such as getting enough sleep, exercise, healthful food, and abstaining from toxins are important.
And yet...everything in balance. When I was a psychotherapist specializing in treating eating disorders, I had a few clients who were obsessed with self-care, to the point where exercise, and worrying about food choices, were an addiction.
They'd spend all day in the gym and neglect the rest of their lives, and they'd suffer from burn-out, mood and energy swings, injuries and health challenges as a result. So we'd focus upon caring for their spiritual, emotional, and intellectual self, too. And having this balance would give them the true and lasting happiness they craved. For example:
For intellectual self-care: Strive to learn something new each day. Watch educational programs, take classes, read instructive books, listen to teaching audios.
For emotional self-care: Develop and nurture friendships with like-minded and supportive people. Keep your promises to yourself, and forgive yourself and others so that you aren't carrying around old negativity. Get counseling or join a support group if you struggle with addictions.
For spiritual self-care: Pray, pray, pray. Love God with all of your heart, mind, and soul. Read the Bible and attend a supportive church. Volunteer and help others in need. Create quiet time to listen. And please be discerning about who you hang out with, who you pray to, and what you watch or listen to. Follow God's lead always.
Here's a helpful prayer: Dear God, I love you so much! Thank you for guiding and supporting my choices, actions, and decisions in how best to care for myself. I ask for your help in increasing my motivation and confidence in taking care of myself.
And here's a supportive scripture: Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”
